Hair loss in autumn

Experiencing hair loss in autumn? Don't worry!

It is normal for more hair to fall out in autumn. This is a temporary process caused by more hair simultaneously entering the shedding phase of the hair growth cycle.

The causes are:

  • Hair growth cycle: Seasonal change affects the natural hair cycle. In summer, hair receives more sunlight, keeping it in the growth phase longer. As autumn begins, this pattern shifts, and many hairs simultaneously enter the resting and shedding phases. This is a natural process.
  • Dry air: Dry air in autumn can lead to a dry scalp and brittle hair, causing hair to break and shed more easily.
  • Less sunlight: Reduced exposure to sunlight can lead to lower vitamin D levels, which are important for healthy hair growth.

Hair tips

  • Use natural hair oils to nourish your hair;
  • Stimulate blood flow to the hair follicles by massaging your scalp;
  • Eat healthily and consider supplements, such as vitamins, iron & biotin;
  • Don't stress, it's a normal process.
